The Opportunity

The Milestone Group is a leading national real estate investment firm focused on the U.S. multifamily sector. The firm relies on rigorous research, analytics and active investment management across $9 billion of real estate investments over the last 20 years.

We are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our investment team as a Financial Analyst in our Boca Raton, FL office. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the investment activities of our private equity real estate funds. The successful candidate will be excited to leverage their strong analytical skills, financial knowledge, and real estate expertise to be an effective team player across a variety of investment-related responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct market research and analysis to support the firm's investment functions
• Prepare pitchbooks and underwrite investment opportunities
• Assist with the due diligence of prospective acquisitions
• Collaborate with acquisitions and asset management teams to develop business plans for new investment opportunities
• Support capital market and portfolio management activities by assisting with pitchbooks, investor due diligence, and portfolio analytics

The ideal candidate will have:

• A passion for learning and growing within the industry
• A strong commitment to being a team player
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• A degree in business, finance, or real estate preferred; MBA is a plus
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in real estate, finance, private equity, or investment banking
• Strong interest in multifamily real estate investments; experience in acquisitions, underwriting, financial modeling, and/or working in the apartment industry preferred
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while staying organized
• Poise and the ability to interface with senior management, investors, brokers, and other industry professionals
• Willingness to travel if needed
