We are seeking an Associate preferably located in New York, NY, though other locations will be considered. In this role, the individual will work with a high performing origination team that delivers debt products to multifamily clients primarily consisting of Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, but may include FHA, Bridge, CMBS and Specialty Product loans. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of Agency experience. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to work with on the leading Originations Group at the company. This individual will also play a critical role in the leading, coaching and development of talent within the team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sizing loans and providing competitive and achievable soft/preliminary quotes for alternative loan products.
• Submitting loans to Fannie and Freddie to obtain firm quotes.
• Working through Greystone and Agency platforms to negotiate terms and help achieve Client’s objectives for signed-up loan applications.

Experience, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2+ years’ experience working on with Fannie and Freddie products.
• Familiarity with alternative loan products required.
• Commercial Real Estate experience required.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational/project-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and a respect for deadlines.
• Driven, innovative, team player who is focused on results and strives to deliver a superior work product.

• Understanding of Agency products, and how to size & submit agency loans.
• Ability to stay organized and not miss tasks / get overwhelmed by inflows.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a Manager.

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
