Job Description

As Senior Associate, you play a critical role analyzing and recommending strategic initiatives to the CIO and Executive team to optimize financial performance and migrate risk for real estate and debt investments company-wide.

Under the Investment/Portfolio Management team, you will work closely with Peachtree Group’s Asset Management and Loan Servicing teams.


This role is office-based in Buckhead (Atlanta) Georgia. 


Essential functions 

  • Construct, Manage, and Report portfolio-level models to assist in company and fund decision making processes
  • Analyze and recommend strategic initiatives to the CIO and Executive Team for investment return optimization and to mitigate risk
  • Conduct Disposition and Payoff analyses to guide decision making related to asset sales and/or loan extension or modification agreements
  • Actively track and report firmwide investment track record for ongoing record keeping and allocation policy management
  • Manage liquidity at investment levels through cash management and collaboration
  • Assist in valuations, financial reporting, and fund strategy for quarterly and annual investor reporting
  • Manage ongoing improvement of upstream reporting procedures to improve data availability and integrity

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • This candidate must be a good communicator, able to work independently, manage a large volume of projects, and think outside of the box to resolve critical and complex problems
  • Ability to multitask and function within a growing organization
  • Experience supporting multiple projects, and project teams, including timely completion of projects and effective communication of results/findings
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from complex financial, statistical, and qualitative data
  • Detail Oriented
  • General understanding of real estate, loan, and venture modeling and investment analyses
  • General knowledge and understanding of the following: real estate markets, capital markets (equity and debt), fund mechanics and terms, credit facilities, alternative financing vehicles

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related disciplines or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 5-7 years progressive work experience in real estate, development, acquisitions, investment analysis, and/or lending in a principal capacity
  • Experience working on significant and complex real estate or debt fund modeling.
  • Demonstrates proficiency and experience in conducting financial analyses and developing cohesive strategic recommendations
