JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to support and assist in the management of space planning.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Serves as a primary interface and point of contact with client team for all non-project space related inquires throughout the planning process.
Develop and/or update CAD drawings for small renovation projects and furniture space planning; documents findings, conclusions and communicates recommendations based on program requirements and furniture availability. Reports to client and service delivery partners upon critical success factors, work environment and delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
May identify existing furniture solutions currently in place and develops standard operating procedures for all furniture activity. Maintains knowledge of current and future space needs and understanding of the business direction and changing workplace needs.
Tracks, monitors and coordinates all non-project related moves, planning and installation/reconfigure of furniture and workstations.
May develop and maintain tracking mechanisms for monthly reports. Applies knowledge to forecast space requirements based on verified existing space information, forecasted space supply/demand and growth projections. Provides metrics around current and future space needs. Participates in conceptualizing and the development of migration plans.
Coordinates planning for non-project related moves, adds, and/or changes. May deliver budgetary forecasting.
Attends meetings with client representatives and facilitates discussion/programming of space requirements (headcount/growth, allocations, adjacencies, special support needs). Provides metrics, collect, coordinates and analyzes data related to client's facility requirements and physical space needs. Provides solutions and/or recommendations. Educates and implements policies, standards and procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical mentorship and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associates degree from or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training.
Minimum five years' experience in management. AutoCAD drawing experience is required.
Knowledge of office interiors is preferred.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Ability to collaborate, problem solve and multi-task.
Ability to adapt to change when necessary.
Familiar with system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health & safety guidelines.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $55,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
