About the role:

What you'll do:
Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Working under moderate supervision, assists in supervising building system operations and performance. Uses several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
• Performs Maintenance functions maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.
• Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
• Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as the need arises.
• Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
• Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
What you'll need:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver License may be required.
