About the role
• Building Engineer focusing on Wastewater in an Innovative Cambridge Life Science Facility. Free parking!

What you'll do

RODI responsibilities
• Understanding of RODI systems, CDI, Ion exchange and related
• System diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Understanding of water chemistry
• Daily water testing (chlorine, pH, ORP, conductivity, resistivity, TOC)
• Pump diagnostics and repair
• Operational knowledge (HMI, VFD, pH/ORP meters and related instrumentation)
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Perform sanitizations on related water systems.

Wastewater Treatment System Responsibilities
• Massachusetts Wastewater License (Grade 1 Industrial or higher) or ability to obtain
• Daily rounds and readings (daily flows, pH and related)
• Perform calibrations on neutralization and related WWT systems.
• Understanding of WWTS mechanics and chemistry
• Understanding of wastewater sampling
• Perform decontaminations on Bio Kill and other related pretreatment systems.

What you'll need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.
• Interpersonal skills, with excellent communication.
