Job Description
Position Overview:
A 60 year old, private New York City-based real estate investment and development company is looking to hire an acquisition analyst or associate to join its newly created Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) platform. The position will report directly to the head of the group as well as the principles of the company.
- Executing an acquisition from start to finish, including deal screening, underwriting, broker or seller communications, and term sheet and contract negotiations.
- Creating acquisition tracking reports
- Performing property/acquisition due diligence
- Providing market analysis including market trends
- Maintaining and running financial models on existing assets and new acquisitions
- Investor reporting and communication
- Assisting in lease analysis, tenant underwriting, and lease negotiations
- Minimum 2 years of real estate experience. At least 1 year of industrial experience is required.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Organized with a focused attention to detail.
- Hard working and high energy are essential.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Argus, Word and PowerPoint.
