Vice President of Acquisitions

Job Description

Armenco Capitial is seeking qualified applicants for the Vice President of Acquisitions - Multi-Family with expertise in acquisition, securing funding, property management, construction, renovation, and project management.

Armenco Capital is a real estate investment and development firm focused on creating value through strategic acquisitions, asset management, and property development. We focus on multi-family residential properties and the ideal candidate is experienced and highly skilled Vice President of Acquisitions to join our team and driving growth in the multi-family value-add and development sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and evaluate desirable geographic areas for multi-family acquisitions, considering factors such as market trends, demographic data, and regional economic conditions.
2. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities in targeted geographic areas, leveraging industry relationships, market knowledge, and research capabilities.
3. Conduct in-depth analyses of targeted properties, including financial, operational, and market assessments, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for acquisitions.
4. Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models in Excel to support underwriting, property valuation, and investment decision-making processes.
5. Collaborate with internal and external teams to conduct due diligence, negotiate deal terms, and execute transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Source and secure financing for acquisitions, working closely with financial institutions, and other capital providers to structure optimal financing arrangements.
7. Oversee the integration of acquired properties into the company's portfolio, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with overall strategic objectives.

1. Implement and track capital projects and renovation programs to ensure successful execution.
2. Candidate might assume 3rd party oversight or in-house construction guy would do that.

1. Monitor and report on acquisition performance and market trends to inform future investment strategies and decision-making.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, brokers, and other stakeholders to enhance the company's deal flow and market presence.
3. Contribute to the company's overall growth strategy and participate in the development of new business initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a specific focus on multi-family value-add and development.
3. Proven track record of sourcing, underwriting, and closing complex real estate transactions.
4. Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools.
5. In-depth knowledge of multi-family property markets, including trends, demographics, and economic factors.
6. Excellent negotiation and deal-making skills, with the ability to structure and close transactions that align with the company's objectives.
7. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a strong focus on results and performance measurement.
