Job Description

Premier boutique real estate owner, manager and developer of commercial office, luxury residential and hospitality properties seeks a CFO to join our team.  We are a multigenerational firm located in Westchester County with a “family” like environment and professionals with expertise in real estate investment, management, development, and construction.  Our firm takes pride in our projects and involvement in the communities in which we conduct business.

The CFO is responsible for all accounting department functions, including but not limited to monthly financial reporting, Annual GAAP Financials (with outside CPA), setting up and maintaining policies and procedures to enhance internal controls, overseeing Cash Flow management and reporting. In addition, hands on participation in the development function including projections, financing, equity raising and other financial components. This position is a full time in office position located in Westchester County and does not include flex-time or a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities and oversight

• Manage and maintain general ledger and job cost system.
• Percentage of Completion WIP reporting.
• Participate (with Project Managers) in the preparation of Project cash flow reports.
• Timely Month-end and Year-end close.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare management reports monthly.
• Manage payroll.
• Provide key performance metrics.
• Cash Flow management and reporting.
• Liaise with CPA Firm, Bankers, third-party management companies and other outside professionals.
• Additional ad hoc financial and managerial requirements.
• Processing of construction payment applications and lender requisitions
• Financial modeling of proposed commercial real estate and hospitality transactions including projections.
• Oversee company insurance programs
