Job Description
This professional will assist with the operations of CBRE Investment Management's Americas Direct Real Estate business segment. This professional will report to the Senior Director of Americas Direct Real Estate Operations - Americas Direct Real Estate. The position will be in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas or Boston. By necessity, a strong and close working relationship will exist between the candidate and the senior management of the business. The professional will be involved in a wide variety of projects, workstreams and ad hoc assignments, working with all parts and levels of the firm.
What you'll Do:
- Support senior management in the operation of the Americas Direct Real Estate business.
- Coordinate across different areas of the business to help improve workflow design and processes as part of our Way of Working concept.
- Collaborate with Data Governance, Intelligence & Insights and D&T resources to enhance our ways of working through the alignment of process, controls, and tooling within the region.
- Drive successful adoption and implementation of newly established operating processes and controls within the investor operator model construct.
- Contribute to ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives.
- Be an ambassador for the CBRE IM way of working and actively promote the availability of the processes already in place; and
- Partner with other business segments across CBRE Investment Management to drive efficiency and global consistency.

What you'll need
- This professional should have at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Real Estate Asset Management background preferred. Operations, Portfolio Analytics and Portfolio Management backgrounds to be considered as well.
- Project management or change management (process or technology conversion) experience preferred.
- Experience with visualization software (ex: Power BI, Tableau) and coding (Python, R, etc) a plus.
- Data literacy (understanding of data preparation, validation, and Excel proficiency) a significant consideration.
- The successful candidate will be a practical-minded professional who is a great teammate, hard-working, upbeat, organized, meticulous, pro-active, adaptable, service-driven and eager to learn and develop in this newly-created role.
- The successful candidate needs to be able to build strong personal relationships with management, have a "can do" demeanor and be able to work to meet short deadlines when required.

CBRE IM carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $145,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE IM's applicable benefit program.
