Investment Analyst / Associate

Overview:

SilverCap Partners, an institutionally capitalized real estate private equity firm focused on opportunistic investments throughout the Sun Belt region of the United States, is seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate to support the firm’s investment and asset management functions. This individual will work as part of the fast-paced investments and finance team supporting all elements of the development, acquisition and asset management process across multiple property types and will work directly with partners of the firm on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the investment team to analyze and underwrite new and existing real estate investments.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models utilizing Excel and Argus for acquisition and development projects that incorporate various scenarios and sensitivity analyses.
• Manage due diligence, including the analysis and review of market data, financial statements, third party reports, and legal documentation.
• Track and evaluate relevant real estate market statistics and data.
• Assist in the preparation of internal investment committee materials.
• Assist in the preparation of external investor reporting and marketing materials.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1- 2 years minimum experience in private equity, capital markets, or investment banking role
• Real estate underwriting experience
• Proficient in Excel and Argus software
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Position is based in Charlotte, NC
