Development Project Manager

Job Description

Slate Property Group, a New York City-based Owner and Developer of residential and mixed-use real estate, is seeking a Project Manager to be involved in the Development of ground up multifamily rental buildings, condominium projects, capital improvement projects, affordable, supportive and transitional housing projects. 

Candidate will be responsible for management and execution of development projects from acquisition through design, construction, and project completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for and assist with project specific budgeting, cost control, consultant selection, design coordination, contractor RPF process, construction oversight, TCO process, punch list, marketing, and leasing. Candidate will be required to participate in and coordinate monthly budget and variance analysis of financial performance ensuring projects are completed within established budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Candidate will report to the Head of development at Slate Property Group. +5 Years development / construction management experience working on residential housing development in New York City is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, or urban planning is preferred.
