Job Description
Haven Capital is a real estate investment firm dedicated to originating new ground lease positions on high-quality assets throughout the US. Formed through a joint venture between Regis, a UK-based private equity firm, and affiliates of Ares Management, Haven provides an alternative source of long-term capital for property owners.
We are currently seeking a Summer Analyst to join our Originations team in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior management with all analytical and transactional aspects of acquiring an investment, including due diligence, market research, financing, and closing
- Create and maintain financial models, presentations and investment summaries
- Interface with partners, lenders, and brokers
- Gather, monitor and report on the status of various acquisition processes and due diligence items obtained from or requiring input from operators, JV partners, legal counsel, brokers, lenders and other deal participants
- Review third-party reports, engineering reports, appraisals, market studies and other pertinent real estate documents with the goal of abstracting relevant and actionable data
- Communicate with various acquisition process stakeholders exhibiting a high degree of social intelligence and discretion
- Perform special ad hoc projects and analysis on a frequent basis
Qualifications:

- Well-rounded Microsoft Office experience, including both Excel & PowerPoint
