Job Description

Mission:  Play a key role in supporting PCCP’s fundraising, marketing, and investor relations efforts with national and international investors, particularly in Asia.

Description: The Candidate will coordinate multiple projects including requests for proposals (RFPs), diligence questions, and creating investor presentations and marketing materials.  The Candidate will facilitate information flow between PCCP and current and prospective limited partners, including responding to all due diligence requests.

The Candidate will have significant interaction with members of the Firm’s management, fundraising, accounting, investment teams, and compliance groups.

Outcomes:

  1. Complete RFPs and DDQs independently for prospective investors
  2. Develop comprehensive knowledge of PCCP’s platforms, investments, and investor base
  3. Create custom marketing materials to support fundraising efforts
  4. Communicate directly with prospective and existing investors and participate in diligence calls, onsite meetings and asset tours
  5. Other duties as assigned, including English-Korean translation needs

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to RFPs and DDQs by leverage response database and various internal PCCP teams to complete questionnaires
  • Set up diligence meeting agendas and property tours
  • Create and update marketing materials, decks, tour materials, custom pipelines and handle print jobs for Investor Relations team in PowerPoint
  • Participate in due diligence meetings and calls with prospective and existing investors
  • Use CRM system to track active fundraises and document client communications
  • Assist in database management of due diligence responses and manage investor information and fundraising data
  • Assist fundraising team’s efforts in Asia through English-Korean translation

Qualifications:

The Candidate will be expected to understand the basic fundamentals of real estate investments, the global real estate environment, and private equity fund structures.  Candidates without direct real estate experience will be considered, should they demonstrate a high-level understanding of macroeconomics and finance.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn about real estate, would like to be actively involved with senior members of the real estate investment team, work in an entrepreneurial work environment and support fundraising and investor relations activities.  The successful Candidate should possess a strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task, have superior communication and presentation skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, be able to analyze and articulate financial data, and a desire to work in a team environment, often under pressure to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  A bachelor’s degree is required, and the Candidate should have 2-4 years of financial real estate experience (or other comparable experience with a demonstrated understanding of economics/finance).  Ideal Candidates would have experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.  Ideal Candidates would have had prior internship or work experience or exposure to real estate, real estate finance, or investor relations.  Finally, ideal Candidates would have language fluency in spoken and written Korean and English, although candidates without Korean fluency will be considered.  H-1B visa sponsorship is available if required.
