As Chief Development Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire development process, from strategic planning and market analysis to acquisition, design, and construction. Your strategic vision, coupled with your deep understanding of the real estate landscape, will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, establishing key partnerships, and delivering exceptional projects that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand our presence in the Southeast and Sunbelt regions.
• Lead the entire development lifecycle, including market research, site selection, due diligence, entitlements, design, construction, and lease-up.
• Foster strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners to secure funding and drive successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with our talented team of architects, designers, and construction professionals to create innovative, sustainable, and high-quality multi-family communities.
• Stay abreast of emerging market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure our projects remain at the forefront of the market.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development, with a proven track record of success in the multi-family sector.
• Extensive knowledge of the Southeast and Sunbelt regions, including their unique market dynamics and trends.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and capital structuring.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
