About the role:

As a CBRE Hotels Analyst, you will identify business opportunities and create growth strategies for small to medium-sized clients. This job is part of the Client Consulting function. They are responsible for Advisory services in relation to real estate operations and investments.

What you'll do:

  • Gain an understanding of the client's business. Ensure that property and location strategies align with the business's strategic direction.
  • Support senior asset managers in creating strategies to reduce costs and gain new business for clients. Work alongside local consulting teams on joint projects.
  • Attend client meetings and share property data and customized consulting reports.
  • Develop and maintain detailed assignment and portfolio management meeting minutes and plans to prioritize work and ensure timely follow up of tasks and datelines.
  • Develop and implement all aspects of research and production of monthly reports.
  • Develop and update data visualization and reporting dashboards, forecasting models and analysis to help asset management and clients make strategic decisions.
  • Assist senior team members in the development of proposal responses and deliverables for clients. Discover efficiencies and enhancements and present to management.
  • Establish follow-up plans to secure continuing assignments. Assist team members to prepare for client communication during and after assignments.
  • Apply knowledge of hospitality trends, industry indicators, supply and demand analysis, and performance statistics to accomplish assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Expert level user of Microsoft Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams


Bachelor's Degree required.

Established experience in Real Estate or Finance.

Real Estate Sales License preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, and reliable service to customers.

Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Expert level user of Microsoft Suite products including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Knowledge of ARGUS preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of Capital Markets process.

Work independently as assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department
