Job Description

Raith Capital Partners is a New York based private investment firm focused on commercial real estate equity and debt. At its core, Raith is a deep value investor that focuses on sourcing and acquiring assets at a discount to intrinsic value. Since inception Raith has invested $1.7 billion of capital into both equity and debt transactions.  

 

Equity: Raith manages a series of commingled, discretionary vehicles that target opportunistic returns. Raith has broad flexibility in its investment mandate and can pursue a wide variety of strategies including ground up development, value-add repositioning, recapitalization of distressed sponsors, note acquisitions, etc. across all asset classes and geographies in United States.  

 

Debt: Raith manages a series of separate accounts that invest in a wide range of debt instruments secured by commercial real estate. Raith has broad flexibility in its investment mandate and can pursue a variety of opportunities including investment grade and non-investment grade CMBS, whole loans and subordinated debt across all asset classes and geographies in the United States.  

 

Description

Raith is seeking a commercial real estate analyst to join its New York based asset management team. Ideal candidates will have at least one or two years of prior work experience (preferably in investment banking, real estate brokerage or private equity), a fundamental comprehension of real estate asset management and valuation, excellent verbal and communication skills, strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously, and a demonstrable desire to pursue real estate investing. Proficiency in MS Office required. Experience with Argus preferred but not required.

 

 Responsibilities will include:  

  • Perform asset-level valuation and performance reviews
  • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive business plans
  • Assist in management of ground up development of real estate assets
  • Create and maintain financial models and other analyses to evaluate investments
  • Review financial reporting and variance analyses
  • Conduct research and due diligence on current investments, their related markets, and other economic drivers that could impact asset performance
  • Work in partnership with Raith’s acquisition team on underwriting and due diligence efforts for new investment opportunities
  • Manage transition of new assets from the acquisition team to the asset management team
  • Support financing and disposition processes
