About the Role

This position is to support the Sales, Commercial, and Operational aspects of the GWS Enterprise Accounts Industrial & Logistics Sector with 3rd party supplier pricing, client-specific solutioning and overall value-enhancing proposals to establish the procurement function for all aspects of Facility Services within real estate portfolios.

What You'll Do

Support multiple simultaneous sector Build, Transition, Operation (BTO) initiatives and functions by working with the Sales, Operations, Facilities Management, Commercial teams, and procurement category subject matter professional to provide custom tailored bids and solutions in support of requirements for new client pursuits.

Serves as the Global Procurement BTO Lead for Sector, with responsibility for ensuring accuracy and completeness of regional procurement solutions.

Evidence ownership of role & responsibilities, articulating strategic and conclusive recommendations and establishing presence as a recognized authority.

Ensures accuracy in output and with regard to excellence in data, analysis and solutioning.

Fully qualifies all outputs, allocating sufficient time and resources to ensure target dates are met and working conscientiously & efficiently to progress and complete all outputs in-line with expectations.

Leads all areas of client transitions to ensure Key Performance Indicators, outputs and expectations are achieved while ensuring overall BTO effectiveness.

Optimally communicates requirements, opportunities, updates, issues, outcomes and other applicable items to key team members, ensuring understanding and alignment.

Crafts and leads specific procurement budgets.

Analyze commodity and service requirements for services to support a real estate portfolio. Crafts requests for proposals and reviews bids. Drafts supplier contracts, disputes terms, and implements services.

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors. Develop and implement strategies to optimize vendors, confirm contracts, contract renewals, and invoicing. Conduct visits to evaluate vendor performance. Resolve vendor disputes.

Prepares and presents recurring and ad hoc reports of departmental activities and metrics.

Serves as principal liaison between CBRE and client sourcing, procurement, facility management, legal and risk management departments.

Provides support, mentoring and leadership of other sourcing and procurement associates throughout the global network.

Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree. Minimum of six years of related experience or training.

C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility required.

Ability to analyze, interpret, and write business documents.

Flexibility in quick-paced environment with ability to find balance between intuition and contemplation.

Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations.

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms, principles, calculate elaborate figures, forecast, prepare budgets, conduct financial/business analysis, and prepare reports.

Ability to solve advanced problems and navigate a variety of options in elaborate situations that may include ambiguity.

Requires authority level analytical and quantitative skills with tried experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including aggregating and analyzing large amounts of intricate data and standard accounting systems.

Experience with e-procurement and contracts management technology platforms.
