We are a boutique real estate private equity firm based in Los Angeles with a mixed asset portfolio specializing in multifamily and hospitality, ground up construction or value ad.
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage our Bread and Salt (BSH) multi property luxury extended stay portfolio. Ensuring all properties are maximizing their financial potential, are well-coordinated and productive. Our ideal candidate must have previous experience managing a team in hospitality, with the skill to think creatively applying day to day operations to extended stay properties.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive oversight of Extended Stay Operations; 5 separate buildings in the Greater LA area. Front Office, Leasing, Guest Services (includes functions of housekeeping & security), and Property Operations. Oversee sales and marketing, programming, revenue management, Yardi CRM, income and expense, budget process for all properties and control operating and labor costs and expenses within budget.
- Form relationships with corporate providers and pivotal companies in the market to drive sales.
- Create, implement, and oversee a detailed on-boarding/training program for all aspects of the Front Office to ensure unforgettable experiences for each guest and seamless operations behind the scenes.
- Be hands on with the team in all departments at all properties, to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, communication, and service delivery.
- Manage each property’s revenues, develop the revenue management strategy for the properties, to achieve financial objectives. And increase all Ala Carte sources of revenue. Includes use of company systems and business processes to respond to day-by-day trends and deliver reports providing insight to the management company.
- Assist in responding appropriately to guest complaints and implement appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction; tracking repeat issues to ensure they are resolved.
What You’ll Need
- Five (5) years’ minimum experience aa General Manager or Hotel Manager level
- Must have seven-plus (7+) years’ experience within Guest Services, Room Division, or Front Office, preferably in a Supervisory or Management role.
- Fluency in another language preferred
- Experience training and managing multilingual staff.
- Knowledge of health and Safety Standards
- Flexible availability to operate a “24 hours/day, Seven days/week” department.
- Yardi and RentCafe experience is required.
