POSITION SUMMARY
DHC has an immediate need for an experienced individual to assist with all aspects of management and operations of properties in the firm’s growing investment portfolio which includes multi-family, retail, and mixed-use. This individual will take responsibility for execution of the business plan for each asset he or she is responsible for, including execution of capital projects and lease-up programs, with the goal of maximizing value. The ideal candidate has related experience in real estate and is a diligent worker with excellent written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities Include:
• Supervise and execute capital programs in coordination with property / construction manager
• Develop marketing, PR, and social media initiatives with marketing team
• Oversee and lead third party property management teams
• Evaluate monthly reports with property manager and accounting team
• Submit lender reporting statements and capital draws
• Coordinate annual budget preparation
• Conduct property site inspections and market research
• Assist with financial analysis and due diligence for new acquisitions
• Present property status updates during committee meetings and conference calls
• Interface with clients, bankers, investors, property managers, attorneys and third party consultants
Qualifications:
• BS/BA, preferably in real estate, finance, accounting, or business
• 3+ years commercial real estate experience
• Asset Management experience, preferably with value-add / turnaround assets
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and competency in other MS Office applications
• Diligent, highly accurate and extreme attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills
• Demonstration of critical thinking and problem solving
• Excellent communication, team work and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
