Position: PRG is seeking an investment associate to join our multifamily investments team. This role entails sourcing, underwriting and overseeing due diligence for PRG’s development and acquisition pipeline, as well as providing strategic analysis on our existing real estate portfolio. This position will be key to executing PRG’s multifamily acquisition strategy, and the ideal candidate will have experience in underwriting and executing multifamily acquisitions in their prior role. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding, fast paced and entrepreneurial team. Key responsibilities will include:

• Source and underwrite new investment opportunities, including development of comprehensive cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis and valuation models.
• Research and evaluate various commercial real estate markets, identify trends, and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Prepare deal underwriting presentations that effectively communicate the financial merits of investment opportunities.
• Review property operating statements and prepare internal reporting.
• Review and analyze annual budgets and business plans.
• Formulate well-structured written analyses and present informed recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in the oversight of closing activities including evaluation of closing diligence and legal negotiations.
• Collaborate on diverse initiatives to bolster PRG's investment and asset management endeavors.

This position is based in Chicago, IL and requires occasional travel.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a high-integrity, self-driven, resourceful individual with:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in an analytical role within commercial real estate, with strong preference for experience in multifamily acquisitions.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, real estate, economics, accounting, or another quantitative field with a highly competitive GPA.
• Strong financial analysis and excel modeling skills.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills.
• Familiarity with basic accounting statements / concepts (IS, BS, CF, Accrual / Cash).
• A collaborative mindset, adaptability, and the resilience to excel under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
