Commercial Leasing Associate

Job Description

CBC Real Estate is currently seeking a Commercial Leasing Associate to join our team. The Commercial Leasing Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial leasing operations of the American Tobacco Campus with a focus on driving revenue growth across the portfolio.

The Commercial Leasing Associate will foster and maintain strong relationships among both the brokerage community and existing tenant base while representing CBC Real Estate’s Core Values in daily interactions.
  

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day commercial leasing operations of the American Tobacco Campus; to include preparation of individually tailored proposals, renewals, and lease documents, along with prospective tenant tours.
• Learn and adopt CBC Real Estate leasing processes and deal analysis.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing commercial tenants, along with the brokerage community.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, refine marketing approaches, and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Develop and maintain marketing materials, including online property listings, brochures, and digital content, to showcase the unique features and advantages of the American Tobacco Campus to attract prospective tenants.
• Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new commercial tenants and serve as a point of contact for leasing & marketing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records, including tenant information, lease terms, market comparables and transaction pipeline.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Prior experience in commercial real estate.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage with potential tenants and build strong relationships.
• Marketing skills with a creative flair and an eye for design to produce captivating marketing materials.
• Quantitative/analytical skills as part of lease deals.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
• A self-starter with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the commercial leasing industry.
• Up to 5% travel, no more than 10%; locally around the Triangle for networking events.
