Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

Faris Lee Investments is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will specialize in market research and underwriting to lead our resource staff at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the creation and management of offering memorandums and proposals for our clients. Faris Lee Investments is seeking a creative and resourceful self-starter with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Duties

• Prepare commercial real estate offering memorandums and proposals for presentation to clients and potential buyers
• Coordinate information regarding market data, such as demographics, traffic counts, aerials, and lease and sale comparables
• Utilize web-based research tools to obtain property and market information (CoStar, Placer.ai, and Yahoo Finance are examples)
• Detailed review of leases including creating lease abstracts
• Create underwriting models that include rent rolls and transaction summaries based off leases
• Assist as needed in creating and assembling materials to produce high-quality presentations and marketing materials
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for workflow and offer opinions on how to make them better
• Perform other duties as needed, such as contacting cities and counties to understand zoning and redevelopment opportunities or running void analyses for various tenants

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3-5  years of experience in the retail sector of commercial real estate and financial analysis
• Strong understanding and knowledge of retail sector
• Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook
• Experience with Argus and Adobe PDF editing is a must.
