About the role
As the Business Performance Analytics Lead, you'll apply extensive and diversified knowledge of business intelligence, data analytics principles, advanced techniques, and theories to create unprecedented solutions to drive improved business outcomes.
You will partner with Executives, Key Stakeholders, Product leaders, Account executives, Digital & Technology partners and others throughout the organization to promote and develop a culture of data driven decisions across the VAS line of business. This role will enable you to build on your existing business management skills by developing and deploying strategies that ultimately drive revenue to the business through improving our use of business statistics and intelligence to increase win rates, optimize fees, improve quoting practices, drive additional revenue, target new revenue opportunities and enable our leaders to proactively run their respective areas of the business. You'll operate in an environment that values your unique insights, promotes continuous learning and rewards innovation. You will contribute to our global product, data and operational strategies through your role on the Global Digital Operations team.
You will have deep expertise in innovative theories, techniques and/or technologies within the digital and commercial real estate space. You will apply this expertise and knowledge combined with practical experience to coach and guide others.
What you'll do
- Partner and drive accountability with leadership (including Executive team, Managing Directors, etc.) to accelerate and deliver on our data driven business strategy. Be the 'Go To Person' our VAS leadership team can rely on to make data driven decisions regarding current business trends, client purchasing patterns, quoting patterns, and internal optimization opportunities.
- Leverage analytics and promote a culture of data driven decisions and use analytics to understand how business decisions impact our bottom line. This may include identifying the right products for the right customers, assessing risks, or optimizing our VAS products and practices to increase adoption (revenue) within existing and new customer bases.
- Develop hypotheses and frameworks to test these hypotheses to drive improved business outcomes. You will develop and test hypotheses at line of business, regional and product levels. Partner with key leaders and collaborators to validate these hypotheses, determine reasonable outcomes and to implement changes informed by the analytics.
- Monitor outcomes: as you develop and test hypotheses in the business you will implement tracking of outcomes. This will include building dashboards; monitoring implemented tests; regularly presenting to VAS leadership on current initiatives, target outcomes and preliminary success (or failure).
- Enable and measure scale in our Portfolio and Fund Platforms including enhancement of our current processes and tools to enable scalable products that resonate with the Customer base. Leverage standard methodologies including technology and processes from international teams around the globe, and develop standardized performance analytics to measure fund business adoption. Define process and work for large clients with cross border relationships with CBRE VAS. Implement optimized processes and technology aligned with our long-term vision and product roadmaps.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 10+ years experience in the Real Estate industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of client expectations & performance metrics
- Proven experience designing and delivering customer-focused solutions across geographic borders
- Strong existing relationships with key clients and software vendors
- Proven ability to engage with internal and external customers of the organization and deliver engaging product demonstrations and well-organized knowledge gathering sessions
- Demonstrated ability to understand and document processes and improve them if needed
- Demonstrated experience with effective change management practices
- Demonstrates mature communication skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent written communication skills and a highly developed attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Able to design and implement process changes to existing practices that will result in positive outcomes with respect to business performance
- Strong data analysis abilities
