Position Overview:

 

S3 Capital Partners seeks to hire a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join the company as an Investor Relations Analyst/Associate.

 

This position offers an opportunity to gain a high-level understanding of S3 Capital’s strategy, operations, and approach with investors. The Analyst/Associate will develop and utilize a broad skill set, ranging from effective written and oral communications to detailed investment performance analysis and disciplined project management.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with other key company functional areas (acquisitions, asset management, finance, accounting, compliance, tax, and legal) to compile data and insights for investor reports, questionnaires, communications, and ad-hoc requests
  • Manage the coordination of investor fund closings, including working closely with legal counsel, compliance, and third-party administrators to coordinate investor subscription documents and limited partnership agreements
    • Review and organize subscription documentation and corresponding information
    • Track and document essential information through the review of legal documentation
    • Assist in coordinating documentation with legal team and managing correspondence with LPs
  • Provide prospective and existing investor support via CRM platform
  • Actively manage and maintain the firms CRM platform
  • Support fundraising efforts by working directly with senior team members to create marketing materials, including PPMs and DDQs and RFI’s for current investor updates and potential investors as well as due diligence presentations
  • Assist in the creation, procurement and updating of marketing material content and design
  • Maintain membership subscriptions to a number of industry networks
  • Manage quarterly updates to consultant and investor databases and surveys
  • Assist in preparing and review content for private placement memorandum and other investment vehicle documents
  • Work closely with Accounting team to assist in investor reporting, including but not limited to capital calls and quarterly statements
  • Assisting in maintaining firm-level statistics to ensure consistency across internal and external facing marketing materials
  • Work closely with Head of Capital Formation to ensure brand consistency across all internal and external facing materials (reporting, website, advertising, etc.)
  • Analyze investment-level data and prepare appropriate summaries
  • Synthesize quantitative and/or qualitative market and economic data, perform regular research on industry trends, peers, capital markets, and develop regular communication and reporting for senior management and investors
  • Participate in a range of internal projects that require assistance with written communications, data analysis, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Ensure investor inquiries are completed in a timely manner and with thoughtful answers that satisfy the investor and maintain corporate / brand message
  • Various special projects as requested

 

 

Language Skills:

 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft content, business correspondence, and interpret business concepts. Ability to effectively consolidate and present information to senior management.

 

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of related, post-undergraduate experience
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize time-sensitive projects
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of financial terminology
  • Knowledge of investor documentation, including subscription agreements and limited partnership agreements
  • Advanced technical experience, proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative work style; extremely flexible and adaptable
  • Positive and enthusiastic demeanor with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to assess issues, gather information, solve issues, and report when necessary
  • Self-starter, intellectual curiosity, committed to continuous learning and development
