The Lighthouse Group, LLC is a boutique, private equity real estate firm in the Pacific Palisades specializing in value-add and distressed multifamily real estate acquisitions throughout the United States. The current Lighthouse portfolio includes 14 properties and nearly 2,000 units which it manages through its subsidiary, Lighthouse Property Management, Inc. The Lighthouse Group is on track to acquire another 1,000+ units in the coming year.

 

Job Description:

The Acquisition Analyst position requires a highly motivated professional that is capable of:

  • Working with brokers to identify potential acquisition and note purchase opportunities
  • Modeling, underwriting and identifying exceptional risk adjusted investments
  • Analyzing offering memorandums, financial statements, and rent rolls
  • Conducting extensive property level and market due diligence
  • Providing financial analysis to support negotiation decisions
  • Conducting market research to identify potential markets and submarkets for investment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, economics, or accounting
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in multifamily and/or commercial real estate (college internship experience is OK).
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate financial concepts and real estate investment analysis
  • Strong Excel and writing skills
  • Be self-motivated, have the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, possess a great attitude, work well in a team environment
