Job Description

SUMMARY

This position reports to the Manager of Cash Processing and is responsible for the recording of Corporate and Funds cash/bank transactions (SEGMENT and FUND).  This position is also responsible for certain month-end closing entries, accruals, account reconciliations, as well as monthly submission and storage of all DocuSign/Appian journal entries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain daily cash activity for 65+ accounts, incoming and outgoing cash transactions in a timely manner
  • Download and save daily FIS cash reports in e-folders
  • Correctly identify the area/entity/ledger account of Rialto to which each transaction belongs, secure supporting documentation
  • Identify and process check copies and non-cash items received via lockbox
  • Prepare, code and record journal entries in Investran (Funds) and NetSuite (Corporate)
  • Resolve cash application problems within an average of 48 hours
  • Ensure proper cash processing, maintaining communication with Treasury Department
  • Accurately balance bank account activity at month end to identify missing transactions
  • Provide leadership in identifying, monitoring, researching and communicating cash transactions
  • Assist and support other treasury, accounting and administrative duties as assigned
  • Authenticate all journal entries for the month through DocuSign
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented
  • Requires a high degree of ownership and must demonstrate a pro-active approach to all tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
