Job Description
About the role
We are looking to hire a Portfolio Management Analyst to support fund managers in ensuring the optimum performance of the funds under their management.
What you'll do
- Work with Research and Analytics team on various proprietary research tools for the separate account, including the "target market tool," and updating those tools with new assumptions.
- On a quarterly basis, supports the valuation process for the separate account's investments, including updating Argus models for each asset and running DCF analyses, confirming underwriting assumptions with Asset Managers, and collaborating with the external appraisers to share and communicate updates related to each investment; Monitors and reports on the performance of individual investments and separate account returns.
- Coordinates the "portfolio model" and updates the model with new forecasts from research, new investments and other changing assumptions; Calculates project returns and performs various sensitivity analyses with the portfolio management team.
- Conducts portfolio construction analysis with portfolio management team to understand effects of individual investments, sector allocations, leverage and other levers.
- Assists in the creation and design of reports and presentations.
- Administrative work to support fund managers. Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll need
- Post-graduate qualification would be desirable Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills! Demonstrate interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to optimally present information.
- Basic understanding of investment valuation principles.
- Ability to think independently and draw key insights from relevant data
- Effective problem solving skills
- Follows specific procedures to perform much of assigned work.
- Technical proficiency, strong analytical and Microsoft Excel modeling skills - prior experience with commercial real estate discounted cash flow modeling

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this role is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE IM's applicable benefit program.
