About The Role:
The purpose of this position is to assist and support the ARMs department by reviewing and auditing document and contractual data and provide loan servicing for all loan types.
What You'll Do:
- Review all new loans and prepares loan set-up specifications.
- System to note audit and review of ARMs and fixed rate loans post conversion. Ensures loan information is correct within the system and matches original loan documents.
- Review and prepare implementation instructions on modifications.
- May assist in providing support to servicing departments/Asset Managers/Portfolio Managers in the analysis of ARM/DIAL (Deferred Interest Accruing Loans)/modifications/complex reconciliations.
- Handle customer service issues regarding ARM loans/modification/complex reconciliations. Review loan document for ARM criteria.
- Evaluate, analyze and calculate ARM changes. Review ARM reports to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Prints and mails ARM document change notifications as necessary. Reviews and tests all ARM logic in Beta test versions of Strategy.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 2 years related experience.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
Proficient in common Microsoft applications including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Working knowledge of: the McCracken Strategy (AS400 based) loan servicing software preferred. Ability to interpret mortgage loan documents.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
