Job Description
Avistone is a real estate investment firm with a successful 10-year track record of acquiring and operating multi-tenant industrial properties nationwide. We are seeking a high-energy and detail-oriented Senior Real Estate Analyst who will be responsible for developing complex cash flow and partnership models and assisting in new acquisition due diligence and closing. The successful candidate will have an analytic and financial background in commercial real estate investments, strong written communication skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to synthesize data and draw conclusions from market research, financial models, published reports and conversations with other real estate professionals.
This position will follow a hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week in our Lone Tree, CO office.
Essential duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist in developing sophisticated cash flow and partnership models using Excel and Argus
- Collect, organize, review and analyze due diligence information including tenant leases, third party reports, historical operating statements and market information
- Prepare investment offering summaries utilizing Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Assist in the closing process for new acquisitions
- Assist asset management in performing on-going financing analyses and valuations
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual lender and investor reports and presentations
- Assist in interactions with and analyses for lenders and investors
- Develop a working knowledge of leases, loan documents, partnership agreements, and other agreements to assist with general responsibilities
- Facilitate the on-boarding transition from acquisition to operations/asset management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals, financing principles, and capital structures
- Exceptional Excel and Argus skills
- Proficient in Word and PowerPoint
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate with sellers, brokers, high net-worth and institutional investors in a courteous and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain quantity without sacrificing quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, accounting or a related field preferred
- At least two years of full-time experience as a real estate analyst with frequent use of Argus software
