Miramar Capital is looking for a highly motivated individual seeking a role as an analyst at a commercial real estate operator/developer.  The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of professional work experience in real estate investment banking, brokerage, or private equity.

Position Summary

Analyst responsibilities would primarily include: financial modeling of new and existing investments, conducting due diligence, compiling market research/analysis, preparing detailed presentations/materials, and assisting with asset management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the underwriting, due diligence, and closing process for new acquisitions
• Review and analyze operating performance of owned assets
• Research, assemble, and review economic, demographic, and other pertinent market information
• Compile sale and lease comparables and monitor performance of competitive properties
• Prepare marketing materials for new opportunities and asset summaries for internal team review

Skills & Competencies

• Education and Experience: BS/BA required
• Work Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in real estate and/or finance
• Skillset:
  
  • Significant experience in Excel/financial modeling and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Argus
  • Understanding/experience with AI applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work longer hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative environment
  • Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability, pride of work, and urgency for achieving results
