WE'D LIKE YOU TO HAVE...

  • Post-secondary education in finance and/or real estate.
  • Two years of financial or business analytical experience.
  • Experience in the areas of real estate development, construction, or project finance.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills and high proficiency with other Microsoft Office software.
  • Advanced finance theory knowledge including thorough understanding of DCF analysis, IRR and other valuation tools.
  • Proven self-starter skills with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Versatile team player skills and be comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

 

You will:

  • Create, analyze and review proformas, budgets, cash flows and partnership models.
  • Model debt and equity structures to maximize project returns and mitigate risk.
  • Work closely with the acquisitions team, assess real estate acquisition and equity investment opportunities across Austin, Newport Beach, and Seattle.
  • Assist with the underwriting, marketing, due diligence and closing of project finance loans and equity partnerships.
  • Provide financial analysis and related support to operations units to inform development decisions.
  • Develop and maintain various financial and management reports.
  • Participate in various capital markets initiative and special projects.
  • Research and monitor developments in financial markets.
  • Complete research projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
