About the Role

As part of CBRE's GWS Proposal Management Team, the Marketing Manager leads, manages, and writes winning proposals and presentations for clients and prospects across the 'Infrastructure, Defense, and Public Enterprise' sector seeking to outsource their real estate services.

What You'll Do

Lead request for proposal responses from receipt of request to successful submission, including: developing materials to facilitate successful kickoff, scheduling and leading all document reviews, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, and coordinating timely completion.

Work alongside the sales team to lead the pursuit pipeline and participate in Go/No Go discussions, and coordinate /update the sector's internal SharePoint site.

Build and write custom responses and material for cultivation, new accounts, and renewal contracts, using CBRE's writing guide and brand standards.

Collaborate with sales leads and internal customers to identify win themes, hone critical messaging, and uphold strong storytelling in both written and graphic content.

Ensure professional content and appearance of all material by performing quality control across assigned pursuits, with strong copy editing and attention to detail.

Lead client communication and final proposal submission through formal procurement channels and portals.

Participate in debrief sessions with the pursuit team and document feedback and lessons learned.

Contribute to Knowledge Management, including developing sector-specific content and bringing together case studies.

Maintain strong working relationships with subject matter authorities throughout the organization.

Help maintain and evolve standard processes on the Proposal Management Team by contributing to bi-weekly team calls, participating in training and development workshops, and mentoring peers.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of related experience or training.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most sophisticated business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most critical issues.

Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on intricate topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.

Ability to empower and mediate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate involved figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.

Requires knowledge of all software used by personnel in the department.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Marketing Manager position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Marketing Manager position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
