About The Role:

As a CBRE Digital Marketing Senior Director, you will partner with business segment marketers to define the overall B2B digital strategy for relevant business segments including product design in support of key business objectives. You will comprehend business needs in depth to define the role of digital for that business segment, and then influence CBRE's digital footprint (.com, email, social, martech) in support of those objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement business segment focused integrated digital marketing strategies and experiences in order to increase brand awareness, customer advocacy, customer data collection and pipeline growth across digital channels in support of broker and customer journeys.
  • Partner with business segment marketing leaders and teams, in concert with business leaders to create digital demand generation experiences to attract and retain customers, convert prospects, and engage key accounts in support of stated business objectives.
  • Ensure work and approach is aligned with our digital marketing maturity.
  • Support and report back on business segment digital marketing needs (webpage, campaigns, email marketing, SEO, paid media analytics, campaign dashboards) bringing to bear Core Digital team resources.
  • Own and manage relationships with business segment marketing leadership and team-members.
  • Lead, manage and report on business segment digital marketing projects and campaigns from start to execution with a client-centric focus.
  • Support global martech strategy implementation calibrated for business segment needs, prepare local marketers and coordinate with Core Digital team to train partners to ensure "fit for purpose".
  • Advise partners on digital marketing topics and trends, opportunities, and internal digital marketing capabilities that can be activated.
  • Clearly communicate prioritized project requirements to digital marketing team and oversee execution.
  • Drive impact through measurable critical metrics.
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Develop an annual digital marketing strategic plan and associated budget.
  • Collaborate on continuing efforts to manage and improve website design, functionality, and content.
  • Develop performance tracking reports for all digital marketing projects.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems demonstrating the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
  • Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job field.


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. MBA preferred.
  • Experience working in a B2B, intermediary-driven business model is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing tools and multichannel strategies including email marketing, lead nurturing, retargeting, account-based marketing, display advertising, paid search, SEO, and SEM to create and advance pipeline.
  • Experience with digital marketing elements including audience segmentation, intent and personalization data, enterprise content management system (e.g., Sitecore), and ABM tools (e.g., Demandbase).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and have examples of previous digital campaigns that showcase tangible results.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Familiarity with Airtable and Monday.com tools preferred.
  • Expert organizational and project management skills and an advanced inquisitive approach.

New York City Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Digital Marketing Sr Director position is $190,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $220,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
