About the role

As a CBRE Global PIMO (Account Operations Director), you will lead and manage the Performance Improvement Management Office (PIMO) to drive innovation and leverage best practices (internal and external) across operating functions.

This job is part of the Contract Quality Management job function. They are responsible for running the delivery of contractual services to ensure requirements are fulfilled.

What you'll do

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Supervise the recruiting, training, development, and hiring of new employees.
  • Oversee team members providing technology solutions for account and asset management strategy.
  • Identify, develop and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in process, cost and efficiency
  • Ensure all initiatives remain on schedule and appropriately coordinated to ensure that issues are addressed, brought up and resolved, and that the program is completed successfully.
  • Assist with driving operational strategies, ensuring efficient and effective operations for a small market area.
  • Partner with local and regional senior management to develop and implement strategies that optimize operational performance and support the business.
  • Build account team communications to facilitate cultural understanding of client and account team expectations
  • Draft Internal Team Communications including Senior Leadership team messages, team newsletter and accolades, Town Halls, etc.
  • Support Organisational change for client team including collaborator mapping, training on IFM model, etc.
  • SPOC for all account Policies, Procedures, Playbooks and Controls and coordinating the ongoing updates
  • Ensure operations align with Policies, Procedures and Legislative requirements
  • Lead Quality Management program and processes.
  • Ensure exceptions and incidents are reported to the required parties and managed effectively to minimize business impact.
  • Advise the business operations activities regionally. Develop partnerships with internal departments management.
  • Oversee and develop KPI & SLA reporting including technology plan for data collection and KPI reporting process - monthly, quarterly & annually.
  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple subject areas, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans.
  • Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
  • Identify and solve multifaceted, complex, operational, and organizational problems maximising the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
  • Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job field.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and balance problems.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive approach.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
