About the role
By maintaining data oversight, IT Business Analysts place themselves in a Proactive position rather than a Reactive position. As a Data Analyst (DA) it will be your responsibility to work closely with other members of the Engineering teams and Management.
This interaction and partnership will ensure the ServiceInsight (CMMS) Database is kept up to date with location, preventative maintenance, employee and vendor records, as well as providing the data in Excel or Power BI report form for Management to review data such as lead times are being met, and consistency of maintenance data is being entered into the CMMS database.
The DA position will work with Digital & Technology to make sure coordinated API's and CBRE coordinated software, such as Sourcing API, myFinance, etc. are working accurately and address issues with the proper CBRE team.
What you'll do
- Become familiar with the specific rules that accompany each section of the ServiceInsight CMMS program (SI).
- Be the gatekeeper for all work orders that are entered into ServiceNow for the client to review.
- Resolve any questions, or issues from SI.
- Handle the timely and correct closeouts of all Critical and Non-Critical work orders.
- Work with your Engineering teams and Management in order to ensure updates to the database are being received from the engineering teams.
- Run a Preventative Maintenance (PM) Failure report every week to stay on top of any issues with the database and the PM work orders generating.
- Verify that all work orders that were closed with issues are being resolved within the prescribed time frame.
- Help develop and maintain any Safety procedures to be used in SI
- Audit the required maintenance for each site and send reminders to ensure all required work is scheduled and submitted on time.
- Run the appropriate reports to verify all non-critical and critical work orders are completed before the end of month
- Conduct New Hire User Training on SI.
What you'll need
- 1-2 years of Microsoft Suite and Excel skills, and Power BI.
- 1-2 years of experience handling large amounts of data.
- Ability to build and maintain spreadsheets with accurate data pertaining to the meeting of the Service Level Agreements (SLA's) established by CBRE, with your client.
- Ability to resolve any questions or concerns from the client regarding the SI database.
