Job Description
- Build and maintain complex financial models using Excel, incorporating cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, waterfall structures, and investment return metrics to guide investment decision making
- Assist in the due diligence and closing process for potential acquisitions by communicating with internal stakeholders, analyzing historical operating statements and rent rolls, reviewing third party reports, and supporting the development of the assets strategic business plan
- Prepare detailed presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investor-facing Investment Property Descriptions, lender-facing Financing Summaries, and quarterly investor reports
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to assess their impact on multifamily investment opportunities and corresponding risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with the Asset Management and Construction Management teams to evaluate internal portfolio data and its implications on potential investments
- Maintain internal databases including sale comparables, rent comparables, and deal pipeline status
- Contribute to the development of investment strategies and recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, real estate, or other business-related field
- 1-3 years of work experience in real estate finance, investment management, or investment banking
- Knowledge and experience in financial modeling, real estate finance, valuation, and capital markets
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Competitive base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience
