Associate Vice President - Investments

Job Description

Shoreham Capital is seeking a full-time Associate Vice President – Investments (“AVP”) to join our real estate investments team in West Palm Beach, FL.  The AVP is a critical team member that works closely with the investments team and others within the organization to execute and/or source real estate investments, conduct financial analysis and underwriting, and monitor the existing portfolio.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for assisting in acquisition efforts and evaluating primarily residential real estate investments as well as using market analysis and your in-depth understanding of investment considerations to prepare investment committee memorandums and related support. You’ll also underwrite potential acquisition and development opportunities, manage the transaction due diligence and closing processes and monitor existing investments.  Additionally, the AVP will occasionally travel to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities.

Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• The position is based in West Palm Beach, FL, but will require occasional travel to additional markets.
• Prior experience in private equity or investment banking is preferred, but not required.
