Vice President - Investments

Primary Functions

• Oversee new loan originations from initial underwriting through execution / closing and post-closing asset management
• Responsible for running deal teams including analysts / associates - primary responsibilities include underwriting new loans and making recommendations to Investment Committee, negotiating loan documents, performing due diligence, managing internal approval process, and drafting investment memorandums
• Develop advanced financial models using Microsoft Excel
• Perform portfolio management for existing loan portfolio comprised of land, construction, bridge and stabilized deals across all asset classes

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate lending
• Experience training and developing analysts & associates
• Strong writing, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial candidate
• Advanced computer proficiency with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communications skills
