Job Description
Arch Street Capital Advisors, L.L.C., a Manhattan, NY based real estate private equity firm, is seeking an Analyst to join the acquisitions team. Candidates must have some exposure to real estate as part of their prior work history. The successful candidate must possess superior analytical and organizational skills as well as effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
This person will be responsible for supporting the team underwriting new investments, including cash flow modeling, financing and joint venture structuring, and investment analyses (IRRs, sensitivity tables, etc.). This person will participate in the acquisitions process across multiple different sectors / asset types. Other key responsibilities include:
- Assist senior team members to identify, analyze, and present new/unique real estate investment opportunities
- Assist in due diligence activities for new acquisitions
- Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentation materials for Investment Committee and Capital Partners
- Work on complex financial models using Microsoft Excel to analyze prospective investment opportunities
- Perform in depth market research including rental comps, sales comps and economic and demographic trends and asset specific due diligence
- Interface with lenders, brokers, operating partners and other third parties
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Quantitative modeling and analytical skills
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a small team environment
Experience:
The candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant work experience (real estate, investment management, finance or real estate lending experience is preferred)
