Location: Washington, DC

Compensation Information: Target salary range for year one: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00, followed by draw in year 2. Position expected to be full commission by year 3 of employment.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Associate to join our retail investment sales team in Washington, DC. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in the real estate industry within the vibrant Capitol region. As a Sales Associate, you will work closely with senior brokers to support client acquisition, manage relationships, and drive sales growth, particularly in urban investment properties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Client Acquisition: Assist in identifying and prospecting potential clients in the Washington, DC area that own commercial assets through various channels, including networking events, referrals, and cold outreach.
  2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the DC metro area by providing exceptional service, understanding their investment objectives, and offering personalized solutions related to their properties.
  3. Sales Support: Collaborate with senior brokers to prepare investment proposals, conduct market research, and facilitate client meetings and presentations tailored to the urban investment property market in Washington, DC.
  4. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as maintaining client records, processing transactions, and tracking market information such as properties on market and recently sold comparables.
  5. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and investment products relevant to urban investment properties in the Washington, DC market to effectively advise clients and contribute to team success.

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or finance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and colleagues in the Washington, DC area.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
  • A brokerage license is not required but preferred.
