Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst

Office is conveniently located 2 blocks from Grand Central Station in NYC. 

 

This position is responsible for underwriting of Multifamily, Mixed-use, Industrial, Condominium, Retail, Pre-development, SFR investment, and Construction loan applications under approved loan policies, guidelines and procedures. 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

·         Review third party reports including Appraisal Reports, Environmental Reports, Credit Reports and other credit documentation and make recommendations to support the final credit decision. 

·         Ensure that loan and all other supporting credit documentation is contained in the file and appropriately analyzed to support the final credit decision. 

·         Analyze commercial real estate income and expenses and generate income statements. 

·         Analyze financial capabilities and develop global liquidity analyses for prospective borrowers. 

·         Assist Loan Team with processing questions or concerns. 

·         Prepare memos and reports as required including loan summaries, pipeline reports, and other reports. 

·         Ensure that all credit information entered into the loan origination system is accurate. 

·         Responsible for maintaining and updating respective pipeline reports and information. 

·         Review information for loan originations and acquisitions, recommendation of work for escrow releases, requests for extensions and or modification of loan terms. 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

·         Four-year College Degree in Commercial Real Estate, Real Estate Finance or Economics with a concentration in Commercial Real Estate. 

·         Good communication skills – written and oral 

·         Proficient in Word and Excel 

·         Highly organized
