Acquisition Analyst

Longpoint is actively inviting high-performing recent graduates to apply to our two-year Analyst Program based in Boston. Over the course of the program, candidates will gain a broad base of experience in commercial real estate finance that is transferrable to a range of roles at Longpoint and across the industry. After the first year, analysts may have the opportunity to work at a satellite office in a Longpoint market.

Learning Objectives:

•Assist the team with underwriting, conducting due diligence, closing, and operating real estate assets

•Gain experience conducting property-level financial analysis

•Carry out market and submarket research

•Create forward-looking cash flow models to support a valuation or investment thesis

•Interface directly with Partners and Regional Heads in carrying out day-to-day work

Post-Program Career Options:

•Post-analyst program permanent role at Longpoint

•Matriculate at a top-tier graduate degree program 

•Extend contract for one additional year

•Leverage skills and qualifications for recruitment at other finance and commercial real estate firms
