Job Description
- Solely manage caseload of commercial and pack out claims to ensure each claim is successfully closed. Achieve your monthly closing percentage objectives.
- The Commercial Claims Manager will be fully responsible for Commercial files. This will include working with policyholders, sourcing the properties, coordinating move in, and obtaining approvals from insurance carriers throughout the duration of claims.
- Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters and the internal team to provide exceptional service on all claim related items.
- Problem solve when presented with barriers regarding claims and identify solutions to meet both the insurance adjuster and policyholder needs.
- Source, build rapport, and develop strong working relationships with customers insurance adjusters and vendors.
- Review, interpret, and make recommendations on lease terms/contracts regarding temporary business needs.
- Create a summary of charges for insurance adjusters at the close of each claim.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and leadership to develop strategies to incrementally grow business opportunities.
- Review and analyze data throughout the month and implement improvements by utilizing CRM tools to track progress and daily sales activities while maintaining dashboards, reports, and other team metrics.
- Track and maintain appropriate information regarding all claims in the company database for internal use.
- Maintain records of commercial procedures and ensure process is documented. Responsible for revisions to documents.
- Support and provide leadership on companywide and department initiatives. Embody company culture and service standards.

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or service industry.
- 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate is required.
- Real Estate, Temporary Housing, or Property Management experience strongly preferred.
- Strong work ethic and desire to reach and exceed claims goals.
- Professional, compassionate, and friendly demeanor.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills related to data entry. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
