About the Role: This individual will have a direct impact on the success of the organization by supporting the strategic oversight and performance of the company’s portfolio. The Analyst, Asset Management, will report to the Managing Director of Asset Management, and work closely with the entire Asset Management team to evaluate and track the performance of properties, manage operations, and support leasing and disposition efforts for the company’s industrial and office assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide analytical and operational support to the Asset Management team.
  • Assist in preparing and tracking annual budgets, financial models, and business plans for existing properties.
  • Monitor and evaluate property performance, including leasing activities, operational efficiencies, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models in Excel and Argus Enterprise for portfolio valuation, leasing projections, and scenario analysis.
  • Support the leasing process by preparing financial analyses of leasing proposals and tracking tenant lease terms and expirations.
  • Assist with property-level reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports to senior leadership and investors.
  • Track market conditions and research competitive properties to provide data that influences asset management strategies.
  • Work closely with property managers to track day-to-day operations, including occupancy levels, expenses, and maintenance projects.
  • Prepare materials for internal asset management meetings and external presentations to investors.
  • Assist with the disposition process, including due diligence support and analysis of sales transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with lender covenants, property taxes, insurance, and other regulatory requirements related to asset operations.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by the Asset Management team.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate investment, asset management, or a related field.
  • Solid background in financial analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Argus Enterprise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • High level of initiative, strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Commercial Real Estate Investment and/or Underwriting experience (a plus).
  • Argus Enterprise Certification (a plus).
