Job Description
This opportunity is at a dynamic and growing multifamily owner and operator, specializing in walk-up buildings across Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. With over 75 new acquisitions in the past five years, we continue to expand aggressively and offer exciting opportunities for driven professionals to grow with us.
We are seeking a Senior Asset Manager to oversee a $500M+ portfolio of our NYC investments. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in asset management. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance and strategic management of a $500M+ multifamily portfolio
- Provide budgeting, financial analysis, and capital project planning
- Manage relationships with third-party property management teams to ensure operational excellence
- Monitor financial and performance metrics to assess asset risk and drive portfolio value
- Conduct market research to evaluate competitive positioning and supply/demand trends
- Troubleshoot portfolio-level issues through data-driven problem-solving
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly reports for the Investment Committee, Investors, and Senior Management
- Assist with due diligence and underwriting for potential acquisitions, including pro forma analysis, site visits, and market assessments
- Support additional ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in multifamily asset management in NYC
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- High proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong analytical and management skills, with the ability to work independently and multitask
- Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and eager to take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to think like an owner in all decision-making processes
