ASSET MANAGER – PATHFINDER PARTNERS

POSITION SUMMARY
Pathfinder Partners is seeking an Asset Manager responsible for overseeing the operations of a multifamily portfolio in the western U.S. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing real estate investment company, reporting directly to senior executives with the potential for advancement in compensation and responsibility based on performance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Execute property-specific business plans focused on maximizing profitability and asset value
· Oversee third-party property management, construction and accounting teams
· Manage property financial performance including leasing/occupancy, collections and budgeting
· Develop and achieve short, medium and long-term property objectives with guidance from senior executives
· Assist with acquisition underwriting, due diligence, sell/hold analyses and property financings
· Track, analyze and report internal portfolio performance metrics including occupancy, rent growth, NOI and capital expenditures
· Oversee property capital projects and renovations with in-house construction management
· Travel to properties for site inspections, operational reviews and project oversight
· Negotiate major contracts and vendor agreements
· Support the development of quarterly investor reporting, newsletters and marketing collateral
· Coordinate with in-house counsel on property legal matters
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Real Estate preferred
· 5–7 years of experience in multifamily real estate asset management
· Strong business judgment, critical thinking and financial analytical skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with property management software and utilizing A.I. a plus
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· High attention to detail with the ability to identify and solve problems proactively
LOCATION
· Candidates may be based in San Diego, CA, Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ
OFFICE EXPECTATIONS
· In San Diego and Denver – a hybrid model is expected (telework with some in-office work)
· In Phoenix – the position is fully remote
