Job Description
SunCap Property Group is a privately held, national commercial real estate development and investment firm. We specialize in the development of single-tenant build-to-suit facilities, first class speculative industrial warehouse and distribution facilities, the creation of premier multifamily communities, and the acquisition of institutional-grade real estate in key markets.

SunCap has offices in Charlotte (NC), Charleston (SC), Denver (CO), Salt Lake City (CO), and Pittsburgh (PA). This will be a full-time position with SunCap's Capital Team, which is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Capital Associate / Director position will play a critical role in the capitalization of all SunCap projects. This position will have exposure to both the debt and equity sides of the business.

Primary responsibilities will include the following:
- “Cradle to grave” capital leadership for build-to-suits and speculative industrial and business development throughout the United States
- Work with SunCap business development leaders across the country on new development opportunities
- Provide analytical analysis, investment analysis, risk analysis, pro forma and deal structuring recommendations
- Lead debt sourcing on projects -- work with existing SunCap lenders and identify new lenders to deliver superior execution on the debt side of the capital stack
- Communicate directly with lenders on leasing initiatives, loan covenants, reporting requirements, etc
- Take leadership role in closing transactions; manage internal resources and outside counsel on loan documentation / closing process
- Continue to monitor/oversee progress of projects through construction, lease-up or repositioning and exit
- Assist Head of Equity in completing equity offering memorandum(s) and raising equity for SunCap projects
- Using your existing relationships, you will assist the Capital Team in identifying and introducing SunCap to alternative capital sources
- Manage / lead analyst team
