The Vice President -or- Senior Vice President role is designed to support the portfolio management team in overseeing the operations of the US Real Estate Eagle Fund (“Fund”), which is Affinius Capital's flagship open-ended, diversified, core-plus fund. This high-profile position offers broad exposure to various stakeholders across asset management, investment (development and acquisition), accounting, investor reporting, and capital raising departments. 
 
Essential Duties: 
Fund Management 
  • Conduct Fund and asset-level forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and performance attributions 
  • Manage Fund-level debt, including lines of credit and levered feeders. 
  • Assist in cash management and capital capacity forecasts. 
  • Monitor investment performance, prepare periodic reports, and provide strategic recommendations. 
  • Collaborate with development and asset management to ensure accurate capital projections, budgets, and operations. 
  • Ensure compliance with the Fund’s governing documents and investor side letters. 
  • Develop materials for reporting, investor updates, presentations, and other fundraising materials. 
  • Participate in Fund meetings, including investor updates, new investor meetings, partner meetings, and the investor conference. 
 
Deal Sourcing and Investment Execution 
  • Assist in structuring joint ventures and partnership agreements. 
  • Draft and review investment committee materials 
  • Coordinate asset-level debt placement with capital markets, investment, and asset management teams. 
  • Support the development process with internal and external partners. 
  • Coordinate with departments to provide asset operation updates. 
  • Work closely with the disposition team on sales processes and materials. 
 
Additional Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate with counsel and capital raising departments on Fund documents. 
  • Collaborate with accounting and performance teams on quarterly reports. 
  • Collaborate with the capital raising team on messaging and speaking points. 
  • Assist with other Fund-related operational tasks and projects as needed. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business field. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • 7+ years of work experience in institutional private equity real estate or relevant leadership experience.  
  • Strong business writing and presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Argus. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for a multi-department team-oriented environment. 
  • Extreme attention to detail and follow-through, including the ability to deliver a wide variety of tasks on a timely basis. 
  • Excellent analytical skills. 
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment where extended hours may be necessary. 
  • Must be willing to work on-site 
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
