AION Partners is seeking an Investor Relations/Portfolio Analyst to support our asset management and investor relations functions. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in commercial real estate, finance, or a related analytical role.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly investor reporting and update third-party databases
  • Prepare presentation materials for investor meetings
  • Respond to client inquiries, DDQs, and RFPs in a timely manner
  • Maintain CRM and support Business Development with sales and prospecting
  • Develop content including marketing materials and market analyses
Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for asset performance tracking
  • Update and monitor key performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking financial performance of assets, including variance analysis
Portfolio Management
  • Analyze portfolio data and key real estate/macroeconomic trends
  • Assist with benchmarking/attribution analysis
  • Execute ad hoc projects and generate reporting for investors and management
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • 2-3 years in an analytical/data-driven role, preferably at an investment bank or asset manager
  • Advanced ability to create and manipulate complex financial models in Excel
  • Working knowledge of cash flow modeling
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Understanding of finance and real estate concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with RealPage, CoStar, Chatham Financial a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM tools preferred
